With cool Southern Ocean breezes and iconic Terra Rossa soil, Hinton’s Hundred has established a reputation for creating exceptional wines from the cool climate of Coonawarra.
This Vintage
The winter of 2021 was extremely wet following several years of drought. The growing season started off cool, but mild temperatures later in the year ensured the fruit eventually ripened, albeit slightly later than usual. Cabernet Sauvignon yields were smaller than usual, but the fruit harvested was fragrant and medium bodied.
