When Henry Hinton purchased 100 acres of farmland in the place we now call Coonawarra, little did he know it would one day hold a reputation as one of the world’s finest wine regions. With cool Southern Ocean breezes and iconic Terra Rossa soil, Hinton’s Hundred has established a reputation for creating exceptional wines from the cool climate of Coonawarra.
This Vintage
Coonawarra experienced a strong vintage in 2023. High winter rainfall and cooler than average spring temperatures resulted in a mild growing season. A lack of severely warm days throughout January & February allowed the fruit to ripen evenly, producing exceptional quality fruit with concentrated flavours and natural acidity.
